ESNNA

At Vilcabamba Tours, we operate under a strict framework of social responsibility and ethics. In compliance with Peruvian Law No. 29408 (General Tourism Law) and National Regulations, our organization maintains an absolute commitment to the protection of minors.

Prevention of ESNNA (Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents)

We declare ourselves an active agent against the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (ESNNA). We promote an environment of zero tolerance towards any behavior that attempts against the integrity, freedom, and healthy development of minors.

  • Strict Law Compliance: In accordance with Article 1 of Law No. 28950 and the provisions of the Peruvian Penal Code, the commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents is a severe crime punished with imprisonment. Vilcabamba Tours will immediately report to the competent authorities (National Police and Public Ministry) any suspicious activity, behavior, or attempt to violate the rights of a minor within our operations, transport units, or associated tourist establishments.
  • Supplier and Staff Compromise: All our guides, drivers, operations staff, and strategic allies (hotels and restaurants) are trained and formally committed to rejecting, preventing, and condemning any form of exploitation or abuse.
  • Passenger Responsibility: We remind our clients that traveling with minors requires carrying official documentation that proves their identity and parental relationship. In the case of traveling with third-party minors, an official notary or consular authorization is mandatory.

Our position is clear and non-negotiable: Tourism is a tool for cultural exchange, development, and peace. We do not tolerate, cover up, or facilitate any activity linked to ESNNA. We protect our children, preserve our future.
