07:15 a.m. | Hotel Pickup in Downtown Puno
The tour begins with pickup from hotels located in downtown Puno to transfer you to the main port of Puno.
07:30 a.m. | Boat Departure from Puno Port
We board our safe and fast speed boat from Puno port to begin our navigation across the legendary Lake Titicaca.
08:00 a.m. | Visit to Uros Floating Islands
We arrive at the famous Uros Floating Islands, where we will visit 2 islands during an approximate 1 hour and 15 minute tour to learn about the history, lifestyle, and unique reed construction techniques of the inhabitants.
09:15 a.m. | Boat Departure to Taquile Island
We board the speed boat once again to continue our journey across Lake Titicaca toward Taquile Island.
10:30 a.m. | Arrival at Taquile Port and Walk to Restaurant
Upon arriving at Taquile Port, we begin a 25-minute walk along an uphill path to reach a local restaurant on the island.
11:30 a.m. | Cultural Explanation at the Restaurant
At the local restaurant, our professional guide will provide a detailed explanation of the culture, famous textile arts, and traditional lifestyle of the people of Taquile.
12:30 p.m. | Traditional Lunch
We will enjoy a delicious typical lunch prepared by local island residents using regional ingredients.
01:30 p.m. | Island Walk / Main Square (Optional)
After lunch, you will have free time for an optional walk around the island and/or to visit the Main Square (Plaza de Armas) to admire panoramic views of Lake Titicaca.
02:30 p.m. | Return Boat Ride to Puno
We walk back to the port to board our speed boat for the return trip to Puno city.
04:00 p.m. | Arrival in Puno and Hotel Drop-off
Arriving at Puno port, our transportation will transfer you back to your hotel in downtown Puno, concluding our services.
